Bakery Square was once home to the Nabisco Baking Factory that filled the air with delightful scents of their cookies throughout the neighborhood. After the bakery closed, the site was transformed and has grown organically into a bustling office district and hub of innovation where employees generate world changing ideas, as well as a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment destination inviting Pittsburghers from near and far to enjoy the ambiance and community gathering spaces.
Cream up the Sugar, Lard, Molasses, Salt and other ingredients for five minutes. Then, add water and cream for another two minutes. Sift in the Graham Flour and Soda and then start the mixer at 36 revolutions per minute.
